So today was the last of 3 open days. I visited and have some news. I uploaded as much of my ****** pictures as possible in the gallery.
So apart from the native wildlife they rescue and release they also do plenty of other work.
6 skunks already moved to a German zoo.
The 4 lions that came from Ukraine will be transported to Shamwari in South Africa. The 2 rescued Leopards will also go to Shamwari.
The 2 Lynxes that were rescued from Lithuania will move to Greece.
The squirrel monkey will move to Portugal monte selvagem.
Asiatic black bear Yampil will move to Scotland 5 sisters zoo.
They don't test the animals for sub-species or species pureness and simply remain a temporary sanctuary, always looking for other zoos or facilities to permanently hold the animals.
The remaining more exotic wildlife that hasn't found a permanent zoo are:
2 Servals, 3 groups of crab eating macaques (only handful of individuals), a couple common marmosets, raccoons, one white lion, Fallow deer, boa imperator, boa constrictor, Green iguana, Common chameleon, Central bearded dragon, Scarlet macaws, Grey parrot, Golden eagle, Blue-and-yellow macaw, Northern crested caracara, Spotted eagle-owl, Eurasian eagle-owl, Red-tailed hawk, Long-legged buzzard, Harris's hawk, Rufous-legged owl, African spurred tortoise, Hermann's tortoise and Greek tortoise.
I forgot and missed plenty of other animals so the collection probably entails more.
Also If responsible owners for reptiles or domestic animals are looking to adopt or help you can always contact the center for more info to adopt.
Obviously you can always donate as well!
