Other news in 2021:

On July 9th, it was announced that a (1.0) hawklet (species not given, possibly red-tailed) was transferred to Hawks Aloft Inc. in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

On November 18th, the zoo announced that (2.0) Mexican grey wolves were transferred to the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Centre in Scottsdale, Arizona. Their former exhibit will be renovated to allow for new wolves at a later time.

On May 7th, 2025, the zoo announced they acquired (0.3) desert bighorn sheep named Elizabeth, Poppet, and Syrena from Phoenix Zoo in Arizona which are on exhibit.
