The Texas Parks and wildlife is considering some new laws that will provide better protection for the Alligator Gar, which has been all but exterminated in much of its original habitat. Unfortunately, there is much opposition to the changes, mainly from people that like to shoot them with a Bow, and then leave them as waste. Please take the time to sign this petition to allow the Gar to spawn without harvest pressure to ensure that we have this species around for future generations.
