An interesting new series is now being broadcast on Abu Dhabi TV, called 'Hikayat Al Ain Zoo' (Stories of Al Ain Zoo). It's in Arabic, and only on a couple of Abu Dhabi TV channels, but it's quite interesting and makes much of the zoo look very appealing.
Abu Dhabi TV is commonly available on several international systems, including Sky. Although the programme is in Arabic, there are several members of staff who speak in English (with subtitles). There's also a habit of cutting to footage of relevant animals in the middle of an explanation or demonstration - this may normally be a bit frustrating, but only gives us a better look at the zoo.
The series is also available online, but streaming quality is very poor.
