I have just gone through the Gallery of my local zoo and have found there are no photographs of the following animals.
Amazonian Horned Frog, Asian Azure winged Magpie, Axoloti. Black Cheeked Lovebird, Central Bearded Dragon, Chestnut Breasted Teal, Chinese Fire Bellied Newt, Citron Crested Cockatoo, Crested Black Macaque, Gray Squirrel, Egyptian Spiny Tailed Lizard, Florida Box Turtle, Florida King snake, Guanaco, Madagascar Teal, Malayan Water Monitor, Mellor’s Duck, Mongoose Maki, Puna Ibis, Red Ruffed Lemur, Mongoose Lemur, Red Necked Wallaby, Speckled Pigeon, Spotted Eagle Owl, Sulawesi Babirusa, White Faced Scops Owl and Yellow Billed Duck
This list was taken from the list on Zooterliste I also noticed the following on the list that no longer reside at the Zoo
Black Iguana, BoBook Owl, Geoffrey’s Marmoset and Great horned Owl,
The following were missing from the list does anyone know how I can get in touch and have these put on the list or does the Zoo have to do it themselves.
Turaco White Cheeked, Waldrapp, White Faced Saki Monkey, Great Grey Owl, Little Egret, Mara, Bronze Winged Turkey, Peacock, Blue Tongued Skink, Black Swan, Eider Duck, Kune Kune Pig, Burmese Rock Python, Burmese Rock Python Albino, Amethystine Python, Red Eyed Terrapin, Common Boa, Drum ells Ground Boa, Pine Snake, Satyr Tragopan
Some of my spellings may be a bit out but I’ve tried my best.
What other zoos have the same problems I mean if we could get a list together of animal photographs that are missing from the collections in the galleries perhaps people who visit the zoos on a regular basic like myself could try and get them so other people can look at them
Also if we could try and get a full list of animals from each zoo for this year then perhaps it would be a little more helpful than going to a zoo only to find that the animal you thought was there moved last year to another zoo. This is very infuriating as I have found myself lately by going on what it says on the internet maybe if we could organise our own lists then it would help.
Lets here from you all on the list and photographs from your local zoo
