a new baby sealion has been born at whipsnade wild animal park the new baby has confirmed to be a boy born to parents salt and berkley - he has been the first sea lion pup for 5 years . Now he has been called Dom
 
Longleat usually have two or three sealion pups born each year at the Lake.

Chessington Zoo/Amusement Park do well with them too- four pups born some years, their sealion group & display is one of the largest in the UK.

All these pups normally arrive very close together in June/July time, indicating they have adjusted to a set breeding season in the UK>
