The New England Aquarium has a major renovation on the horizon this fall including the complete makeover of the Giant Ocean Tank, new educational exhibits, and a totally new experience for visitors according to the article. The current inhabitants of the Giant Ocean Tank will move to the exhibit currently occupied by 80 penguins (they will move to the off site facility at Quincy). Renovations will last about 10 months.
