Hey folks.

Just a quick note to say we're proud to announce the birth of our second Golden Brushtail Possum joey, Stella.

The little lady completely emerged from Mum's pouch for the first time this week. She's been in and out since then, but we expect her to stay out of the pouch permanently within the next few days.

Our breeding pair, Boags and Cascade, reared their first Joey, Foster, in Spring 2009, making Stella their second in just 9 months.

I'll post more info and a few pics shortly.

Not sponsored, but they have been named loosely around Tassie beers seeing as Golden Brushtails only occur in Tassie.

There's not many Tassie beers though, so we've had to span out beyond Tassie already.

I would have thought "Pure Blond" would have been the obvious name for her.
