A pity the 'host of new arrivals' doesn't include a couple of adult male Chimpanzees....

While at colchester zoo they stated that their 4 african hunting dogs had gone to Dudley zoo. They said they are hoping to get a new breeding group as the original group was not a breeding group. Has dudley zoo done again what they got with the chimps. An attraction & doing nothing for a breeding program

Not every zoo can hold breeding groups of some species as surplus males do need to be held in reserve,if Dudley are doing this with the Hunting Dogs good on them,sorry but i cannot find any defence for the Chimps been just female though.

hirana is the name of the current male lion at dudley, but there is no sign of breeding for a few years. ^.^ old female-young male
