Happy New Year everyone.
I own and manage a wildlife sanctuary in the south west of Western Australia. We care for all species of injured, sick and orphaned Australian wildlife, and also carry out scientific research into wildlife behaviour. We have students from all around the world join us to help with our work.

Hi,

No I am hoping we don't have to sell the sanctuary. It is only for sale because of a court order - divorce settlement - so we are fighting to save it. And there is hope.
Fingers crossed 2009 is a good year for us.
 
I've been loosely following the goings-on at Roo Gully for some time. I am the area manager for our zoo's Australian Adventure and am always looking for more information on these species. I've also raised a few kangaroos and wallabies and so appreciate all of your hard work. Fingers crossed that 2009 brings only good thins to you and your endeavours.
 
Thanks for all your welcome greetings, and for the good wishes for our future. 2008 was a stressful year, but we reckon 2009 will be good one. Hope it is a good one for all of you guys too.

Pleased you enjoyed our TV series Torie. We filmed from 1996 to 2005 to get the footage and therefore the storyline and at the time never believed it would be made into a TV series, so if you have a dream don't ever give up. Because what seems impossible can happen.

I am very happy I have found this very unique web! I have many pictures from Czech ZOOs I can share and I will post them here, if it is possible :D
I live in the Czech republic, it is quite small country in central Europe, but there are 15 very good ZOOs, which often keep very unique animals, for example extremelly endangered gharials.

It is nice to see so many people who are interested in animals! :aww:

Please, feel free to ask me abou Czech ZOOs, especially about ZOO Brno. It is my second home and I have many shots from this place!

That great that you are close to 15 Czech zoos.
You might want to start your own thread. As l am sure there will be many questions for you.
