New moderator

kiang has decided it's time to step down as a moderator - mainly due to a lack of time as a result of work commitments.

I'd like to thank kiang for his contribution to the community and his efforts in keeping this site running for the benefit of our members. I'm sure we'll still see kiang around posting as a regular member.

As a replacement, the moderation team have asked Animal if he would help look after the European sections of the site.

I would like to welcome Animal to the team and express my gratitude for his help.

Just FYI - while they each have their main "sections" they look after, all moderators can perform moderation tasks across the entire site if necessary - they are all part of a team who give their time and energy to help keep this a great site, and I really appreciate the effort they put in for the community.
 
Let me be the first to welcome Animal to the halls of Zoochat power..... :)
 
Thank you Sim for your kind words, the last 4 years have been a pleasure, working alongside yourself and a great moderating team.
Delighted to see we have a continental European influence on the moderating team, may I be the first to wish you well in your new role Animal.
Here's to zoochat going from strength to strength, cheers.
 
I would just like to add my thanks to Kiang,for his time as a moderator and wish him well for the future!

And congratulations to Animal on joining the moderator team,to which I know he will make a valuable contribution.

Thank you Kiang and good luck to animal who from what I have read in his posts will be an ideal replacement.
 
My thanks to kiang (and in fact all the moderators) for their excellent service to this community. A generous and often unappreciated task.

Of course, this means that now, all three European moderators are young and energetic zoonerds under the age of thirty :)
