The website mentions the vast absence of knowledge about most of the species that fall within the Small Mammal Specialist Group's domain and that hundreds of these species have never been photographed in the wild. Given the knowledge and interest in seeing obscure animals in the wild and photography on Zoochat here maybe there are some people here who could help out the SMSG with some of their conservation work.
