New species of Antechinus from Queensland

Unfortunately so. It's their version of showing the abstract. They show the whole first page but that's it, since the article isn't open access.

There's an e-mail address for the author on that front page. I'm sure that he would send you a copy of it.

I wonder if that is legal though? I mean normally one has to buy a subscription or the actual paper, and even authors cannot legally forward around PDF copies of their own paper as the journal owns the published paper. Or so I think anyway......

For this reason I boycott publishing houses like Elsevier, and encourage academics to sign the petition and try to publish in open journals like Plos One.

Oh well that is fantastic then. Can I forward that paper on to one of my buddies though?

Officially, no - but the prevailing feeling among a lot of the natural history and palaeontological scientific community is that they'd rather their work was disseminated to anyone interested, as maybe then the journals might have to change their modus operandi.

That sounds about right. Elsevier's FAQ says you can only forward to you research colleagues if it will be used for research purposes.
