My new year's resolution is to stop moaning about the exotic species Aussie zoos don't have and start appreciating those that we DO have!

Very good resolution there, we did just get 2 new species so we are on eth way up.

I dont know what mine is, i hadnt even thought of that until now :P

My New Year's resolution is that I will forget ZooChat only for a day. Everyone says that I am on ZooChat too much! :rolleyes:

I hope my parents' New Year's resolution is that I can take the train to Germany:D

My new year's resolution is to start donating to the zoo.
 
My resolution is to do better than last year.

My resolution is to visit the Toronto Zoo more this year; with the new tundra area opening, I'll definately have to visit more :)

I'll see if I can visit somewhere I haven't been to before, too.
 
I'm going to try and visit more zoos than last year. I only visited 7 and I'm planning to go to the South Australian zoos for pandas so hopefully I will.
 
My new year resolution is to visit zoos I've never been to (specially San Diego Zoo and Park) and go to Las Vegas to see "The Lion King" on Broadway.

I saw the lion king musical when it was in Melbourne and I was blown away. It's about as close as I've gotten to Disneyland.
 
I've never seen a musical except the 3 I've been in. ( for school) bahahaha.

Yeah, but the broadway plays/musicals travel throughout the states so that other people that can't travel to NY can see them. The Phantom of the Opera is actually coming to Los Angeles for one month, and the lion king will be going to Las Vegas in the summer.

Yeah, I've never been lucky to see it when it comes to LA because the tickets sell out about half a year before it even arrives.

I've only seen "The Phantom of the Opera" when I went to New York about three years ago.

How are you doing with your resolution? It seems from reading some of the Australian threads that more exotic species are suffering from the dreaded fate of 'phasing out.'

I'd give my back teeth to be able to just stroll in to a local zoo and see some okapis.

Since you ask so kindly; I'm hanging in there with my resolution and trying not to think about what I'm missing. (I can feel a world tour coming on.);)
