Yes, I know. This trip seems crazy. We're going to be covering really long distances and we're going to be exhausted. Plus, after these weeks in New Zealand, there will be another three weeks in Australia! But I think we've managed to put together a good plan.

Sounds exciting! Are you not going to visit Orana Wildlife Park while in Christchurch? It may not be rich in native species, but it's still one of New Zealand's premier zoos and much different from Auckland or Wellington.

Sounds exciting! Are you not going to visit Orana Wildlife Park while in Christchurch? It may not be rich in native species, but it's still one of New Zealand's premier zoos and much different from Auckland or Wellington.

This could be a visit worth considering, as the afternoon after the dolphin-watching excursion is practically free, and we only need to travel to Kaikoura. Perhaps I could consider this option if the visit doesn't take too much time, as I wouldn't have more than two or three hours.
