International Show Jumper Reece Oliver is planning to set up his own collection aside from the one at his house in Strelley. He hopes to have a resort and spa, with lodges close to animals.

Sounds interesting I hope visitors can get near to the animals and visit the enclosures as well as viewing them as a backdrop to lodges or being in a hot tub. Hopefully a good mix of viewing and the income generating add ons.

Yes it’s the bloke with the lions (and a puma I think) in his garden, you’re right.

I guess some collections have grown from a small personal thing. I do think it is a bit strange for people to have lions like that.

I appreciate this comment might not be a dig at Reece, but in all fairness, the Lions aren’t actually that close to the Motorway and having been to the current set up, you can’t hear the motorway or any traffic from the establishment.

I would suggest it is no different to Wild Place which is right next to the M5.

You can’t hear the motorway from the current set up at all, and it’s never bothered the horses in the past either and they are usually more spooked by noise and traffic.
