Hello, I am UK (Staffordshire) based and have occasionally visited the forum over the last few months - never posted.
I visit UK Zoos with my family a fair bit, members at Chester - so get in to a few ohters on the back of that. Looking forward to Edinburgh for the Pandas soon - shame they only have male koalas!.
At home we have my own attempt at a mini zoo - Emu, Rhea, Alpaca, Muntjac, Mangalitza, kune kune, Arapawa Goats, Wallabies, a few reptiles, peafowl, turkey, hens, ducks, cats, dogs, rabbits, Balwen and Soay sheep, Koi etc.
Watching out for similars - and a few more unusual - like small and medium mammals, and birds.
Recently had unfortunate dealings which resulted in 2 Guanaco females which a wildlife park had been trying to rehome for a while ending up being collected by a private practice barrister who had been promised the other 7, who promised vet checks on all prior to releasiing my 2 to me, who then decided i had no legal claim to the animals and then kept all 9 for himself. I am therefore also watching out for a couple of camelid friends for him if and when I can find some - hopefully a zoo/wildlife park or similar will have a couple on a surplus list sometime soon.
Anyway enough about me!
