The resident pair of Hamlyn's monkeys haven't picked up on the fact that their species seems doomed in captivity. They thought they might as well produce another offspring. As the only breeding animals in Europe, they still bring a glimmer of hope for this extraordinary species...

That is good news. :) I believe they still breed at Leipzig too? However I remain very gloomy about the longterm future for this species in zoos now...:(
 
As far as i know the last breeding at Leipzig was in 2009, and there's no more hope for more offspring (their breeding animal died or something?)...
