News from Les Aigles des Remparts

I'm creating a new discussion thread for a bird of prey park located in Provins (Ile-de-France region), which I recently visited: "Les Aigles des Remparts" (The Eagles of the Ramparts).

This park is located directly within the ramparts of the medieval city of Provins, which gives it a rather pleasant setting, especially for the show.
I enjoyed the show, which was well-produced, and I sometimes had the impression that it was a theatrical performance (which I liked since I also enjoy going to the theater). The information given about the birds and conservation isn't presented like a lecture, as is the case in most other zoos, but rather as a story interpreted by actors.

While I really enjoyed the show, the aviaries left me with serious doubts. Admittedly, most bird of prey parks (in France, at least) display the birds in very basic and rather small aviaries. But here, the aviaries seemed neglected. They were made of truly rudimentary materials, as if they could be bought cheaply in a store. Furthermore, perches were almost an afterthought.
I felt sorry for two barn owls sharing a small branch that could barely accommodate them, all in an aviary that was only two or three times their height. It's also one of the few places where I didn't take pictures of the enclosures.

In short, if you're passing near Provins, I recommend stopping there only for the show (and for the city itself, which is very pretty and pleasant for a stroll), but it's not a place worth traveling a long distance to visit.

Here is the complete list of species observed and reported during my visit:

If someone could update the species list on Zootierliste, I would really appreciate it.
