I am currently making a European Nile Hippo Population Thread. Does anyone know if the bull "Ottokar" (born August 25th, 1968 in Berlin) at Safari Zoo Mallorca is still alive or not? If he's alive, he would be the oldest Nile Hippo in Europe and third-oldest in the world at fifty-four and a half years. If he has passed away, it would be great to know his date of death.
