I saw no pacing today on the multiple visits to the enclosure. The bears seemed to use the space available very well, although I'll admit I did not see them at the far end of the enclosure.

Yes I do agree the cats could do with some more space, but what they have currently is nicely planted and green which is refreshing to see.
 
Glad you didn't see any pacing today. How is the new tortoise enclosure?

Ah Yes! I forgot to mention this. A nice size enclosure both in and outdoor. The indoor enclosure is plain but functional with sand, concrete and a pool.

All individuals were active and utilizing the whole of the enclosure.

It wasn't a usual zoo visit yest. Approached by owner whilst sitting with tea / cake and, after a nice chat about animals / elephant teeth (he had one in his pocket to show), we did then get the bible blurb and get given a Noahs Ark branded section of bible. We were respectful and listened but not really our kind of thing.
