This is the North American Asian black bear population list. One of my first population lists was made. There is some information that is hard to find but I tried my best. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Total population: 8.9 individuals
Total US population: 7.8 individuals
Total Canada population: 1.1 individuals
Canada: 1 holder

Zoo Granby: 1.1 individuals
0.1 Canelle or Cinnamon, 20-01-2003 (Unknown x Unknown) Cannelle arrived at the Zoo Granby in 2021. Canelle previously lived at the Reserve Africaine de Sigean. Cannelle moved to Pairi Daiza with her two offspring, Pako and Phuket.
1.0 Phong, 20-01-2016 (Unknown x Cannelle). He arrived from the Reserve Africaine de Sigean in 2019. Phong’s siblings are Phuket, Pako, Pearl, Po, and Palikou.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo: 0.1 individual
0.1 Beezler 20-01-1993 (Unknown x Hot Lips) at the Milwaukee Zoo. Beezler’s mother passed away in 2016 and her father passed away in 2007.

0.1 Holly 28-12-1995
Jackson Zoo: 1.0 individual
1.0 Meeko Around 9 years old, arrived from Metro Richmond Zoo in Virginia in 2017

Capital Texas Zoo: Unknown
Lupa Zoo: 0.0.1 individual???
I will need help with the 3 last facilities. The Capital Texas Zoo built a new enclosure but there haven't been updates. I know some visited the Lupa zoo but there is not a lot of way to know.

They currently have Natalie and Mindy. Mindy was rescued in 2013.

I am not sure if it still stands true, but Puerto Vallarta (Mexico) should have at least one Asian black bear.

I also found out that Parque Zoologico Benito Juarez might have some asiatic black bear. Do you mind helping me to search for Mexican facilities? I don't speak Spanish and google translate is the only way I can understand.

Hi I was wondering but would anyone know the name of the Asian black bear that the Philadelphia zoo had back in the 2000s and also any info on it and I am asking because that was my only encounter with an Asian black bear.
