7.2K views · 4.6K reactions | We are thrilled to introduce the newest residents to the Wildlife Center: a pair of golden-handed tamarins! ✨ Golden-handed tamarins are small primates native to the rainforests of northern South America. They live in tight-knit family groups, communicate with a wide range of calls and chirps, and are incredibly agile and curious. Their bright golden hands and feet are one of their most unique features - helping them grip branches as they move swiftly through the forest canopy. She and her companion are settling in well, and we’re excited to watch their personalities shine as they get to know their new home! Come by and see them during your next visit! | North Florida Wildlife Center
