The Northern Cassowary is an elusive bird native to Papua New-Guinea (Also my favorite bird) and I was just wondering if there are any in captivity. As far as I'm aware only Bali Zoo displays this unique species.

In case somebody didn't know, cassowary chicks are regularly caught, raised and sold as pet / luxury meal in New Guinea. However only a few are traded further to zoos.

Northern cassowary are common in Indonesian zoos, although not as widespread as the southern cassowary. Aside from Bali Zoo, other big zoo in Indonesia that I know that keep this species are Taman Safari Prigen and Ragunan Zoo, they're also present in small zoos or bird parks in Indonesia

As well as Walsrode and Avilon, I've seen them in a number of Thai, Malaysian (Taiping) and Indonesian zoos - most notably Ragunan (which @Nandito mentions) where a series of side-by-side paddocks display a few different forms.
