Ok this zoo has just closed down apparently but a two year old Grizzly/Kodiak hybrid escaped into the local Seagrave area, west of Lake Scugog. No one warned residents for 3 days. Not the police. Not the zoo. Not the city. Not the ministry. No one knew they had a grizzly in their neighbourhoods until the poor thing was shot dead. I hope everyone involved can learn something. Someone could have died if they startled it. And if it was known about maybe more eyes on the look out could have saved the poor bear who did nothing wrong.
