I watched a re-run of The Zoo last night where the sad death of Yeboah, the male Gorilla was covered.
I think it's right and educational to show the autopsy, but to keep returning to show the dead body of such a magnificent animal in a weird sitting position was both unneccesarry and didn't treat Yeboah with the right level of dignity which he deserved.
I'm not for a second saying that viewers be protected from the unpleastries of deaths within Zoos, it happens, its nature. I thought this was done for some weird morbid effect and quite frankly, even being someone with thick skin, it made me uncomfortable.
