Has anyone ever heard of or been to this place? Apparently you can swim with a number of their Asian small-clawed otters and they have other exotic animals you can interact with as well.

Interesting - never heard of it. Years ago the zoo that I was volunteering at got a fennec fox as an animal ambassador from a private breeder somewhere in the San Diego area. I wonder if this was the place? (They do show fennec foxes in their video clip).

From what I've gathered, this place does breed at least some of their animals, so it's certainly a possibility. There is a private facility in Moorpark (Exotic Endeavors) that up until recently bred fennec foxes and participates in the AZA SSP for them. That's north of Los Angeles, hours from San Diego, but perhaps that could also have been it?
