Apologies if this type of thread has happened already elsewhere, I just wanted to start one where people can post links to interesting photosets of older photos from various UK zoos. I sometimes come across interesting ones on other sites, and think of the people on Zoochat who might appreciate them...
here are some old pieces of nostalgia from London & Flamingoland zoos around 1990....including a gaur calf, sable antelope, great hornbill, penguins in the old seal pool, baboon rock and both elephant cows at Flamingoland:
