Rare frog finds home at Springs Preserve in Las Vegas

The Pahrump killifish can be seen easily at Corn Creek (where they have
an aquaria where they can be seen, also at Spring Mtn State Park where you can't really see them.
I know of no other place other than springs around Lake Mead (closed to the public- more technically no facilities to go see them) where you can see the relict leopard frog. I don't really agree with the release of relict leopard frogs at Springs preserve. They should have instead released northwestern Mogollon Rim populations of the Chiricahua leopard frog (Lithobates chiricahuensis), which are genetically the same as the vegas valley leopard frog which originally
lived at the Springs reserve as well as Floyd Lamb State park
