Orcas and the Olympic games

As usual, money rule the world.
Nobody bothers to improve the husbandry and increase the breeding & survival rate of marine mammals in Russia, as long as there are cheap wild animals still available... walruses, fur seals, belugas...
and, Black sea bottlenoses are now being replaced by Taiji ones.

Russian mass media are cheerful about new Flippers and Willies who will entertain our kids, but usually silent about those who didn't survive the capture.
In Russia and adjacent Ukraine there are lots of dolphinariums, most of them are private ones that hardly keep the minimal husbandry requirements, and smuggling wild dolphins with papers of registered ones who died earlier, or as been captive-born, often occurs.
The most advanced one is Moscow zoo dolphinarium, where the animals are part of zoo colection, and dolphin therapy is not performed - they know the truth about this placebo.

Our president Putin approves the current situation and the new oceanarium keeping orcas.
In fact, he's just playing on public with wildlife conservation projects as saving amur tigers.

I will better beware of being eaten by talking bear that drunk too much vodka.
Putin was given such nicknames as 'Rat' and 'Crab', and does nothing about it.
