After the hatchling of a leucistic cobra last year this park, specialized in reptiles, welcome the birth of 3 asian water monitors yesterday and this morning. What is uncommon is that the park has a single adult female, called Shy, who arrived two years ago. According to the owner Shy never met a male so it supposed to be a case of parthenogenesis. They are looking to give DNA samples to check it.
According to a press article there was already a case in France in Saint Martin la Plaine in the past.
