Palic zoo is a 10-hectare municipal zoo with ca 150 species that lies in the very north of Serbia (close to Hungary). It´s a candidate for EAZA membership.
The zoo announced it has twin "Arctic" wolf cubs that emerged from parent´s den at the end of May. Its parents are called Aris and Alba and both arrived from Beograd zoo 2 years ago.
New inhabitant Naun is 10-months old "Bengal" tiger that arrived from Jagodina zoo (another Serbian zoo) in April.

Zoo Palic teamed with Croatian zoo Osijek and together they succeeded to secure EU grant of 1,3 mio euro. It will be used to build a new children playground, a zoo school and animal exhibit "Baby zoo" where children would be able to pet animals (I guess pygmy goats etc.). Opening in 2025.

Two female spotted hyenas arrived from Jászberényi zoo in February 2024. 10-years old Sofi and 14-years old Zuri. They should be mixed with resident male Macij (21-years old).
