I have to admit that 5k is a large number, but I had 9 days of intensive photography, which I had planned carefully in advance: for example my particular targets at Vincennes included the manatees, matamata and manakin, and then at the Aquarium in Port D'Oree Madagascar rainbows (2 species) and mormyrids (3 species) - with 2 unplanned bonus species, an exquisite little mandarin dragonet and a big blue mahseer
