Are there any US zoos that exhibit Peary caribou? Those are a much smaller, almost white caribou subspecies with smaller antlers. I haven't heard of many zoos that exhibit caribou and was curious if any exhibit this subspecies.

I dont think so curently, but there may have been some in the past, Peary caribou havent even made it to any european zoo, the only american caribou subspecies that made it to europe were Barren ground caribou (Rangifer tarandus groenlandicus) at the Cologne Zoo and also Woodland caribou (Rangifer tarandus caribou) at 7 european zoos but then again going back to Peary caribou, it is more likely that an american zoo would have exhibited them because they are native to north america, anyways they did make it to a now closed canadian zoo known as Alberta Game Farm, in fact here is a list of animals at Alberta Game Farm, it lists Peary caribou http://www.zoochat.com/1507/alberta-game-farm-guidebook-cover-88179/

I found out that one Peary caribou specimen lived at the Folsom Children's Zoo in Lincoln, Nebraska, from 1969 until 1976.
