Perth Zoo has welcomed the births of Red Pandas and more importantly Binturongs! Both the Red Pandas and the Binturongs had twins.
This is the second litter for their breeding pair of Binturong (who were imported from Singapore in 2016). Their previous offspring (1.1 born in 2017) now live at Adelaide and Currumbin.
It’s interesting to note that according to the article, the Binturong live in a mixed exhibit with the otter family.
