Photo-competition...(could be disaster or real success!)

IF YOU WANT TO ENTER...

1.There will be TWO catergories. (1) Zoo (2) Safari Park

2.All you have to do is take a photo of a captive animal in the UK.

3.The picture must make the featured animal 'seem' its in its natural habitat.
4.Finally post your entrie with the name clearly reading Pic competition and state which catergory, on the voting thread.

5. All entries should be in the voting thread by 30/11/09

6. There, other zoochatters will vote for the winning pic.

Good Luck!

P.S Any info you don't get or understand please post back.

Thanks

Why not? Sounds like a bit of fun.
I've already put my best in the Marwell folder, and will upload some of Longleat.
:)

Can I not to just nominate a photo I have already uploaded, instead of uploading them twice?

As I only upload my better shots.

just copy it into the voting thread. That way all voters can find the pictures easily :)

RIZIKI please can you re-post your pic of the cheetah in the new voting thread.

Sorry for any inconvenience...

Thanks

Awesome, I shall try for a perfect shot at Longleat on Sunday.

Two more questions. Is it only the Safari Park that counts, or can I use one from the boats or pets corner for example. Or is the rule only in a car, meaning do photos of the tapirs or Wallabies or from the viewing area not accepted. You have to be specific, see. :p

Also, when is the closing date for entries before voting can begin?

Closing date is 30/10/

(1) Zoo - has to be in a zoo or wildife park and include no arterficial objects etc

(2) Safari Park - Has to be of an animal in a safari park reserve and show no cars, fences etc

Hi again.
Can I suggest that all the images are placed onto the voting thread itself. Its very difficult to keep going back and forth to view them individually, and impossible to compare them with eachother as only one at a time can be seen. Voting for your favourite would be so much easier if they can seen seen together. Perhaps a maximum of 700 pixels wide, like this?

Just a suggestion.
