Is there a faster way to put up a set of pictures in bulk!
if there isn't Sim you know what to do plz

Do you use image management software on your PC at all? There are lots of free (and cheap) tools out there to help you manage photos and some will allow you perform bulk actions on many images at once (like resizing, etc).
I personally use Photoshop Lightroom - it is the tool professional photographers use, so it is probably overkill for many people, but given my own photo collection is approaching 45,000 photos - I need something powerful to manage them all.
What I do is to flag all the photos I want to upload, crop them as required, and then do a bulk-export from Lightroom as 1600x1200 JPG images. This is the size the photo gallery works with, so by having lightroom resize them for me, it saves time and effort on the server - makes things quicker. Because they are also smaller than the original version, they upload more quickly.
The Flash uploader works pretty well for uploading photos in bulk, but it is still limited by the speed of your internet connection - uploads are generally slower than downloads.
I do have the ability to give individuals access to use FTP to transfer files in bulk to the server, which is much more efficient (although still limited by the speed of your connection) - but that requires some technical knowledge, so not suitable for everyone.
In summary, the best way to speed up your photo uploads is to resize them on your computer before you upload to no more than 1600x1200 resolution.
