Little Blue Beach
Little blue beach would be an exhibit complex based on middle island in Australia. the entrance is guarded by a life sized bronze statue of a Maremma sheepdog on either side of the path, which is a popular photo opportunity. There is signage telling guests about the reason of the dogs being on the island. As the name suggests, the area would be themed as a beach, with faux sand dunes, and a life preserver here and there. On the left there is an enclosure for 1.1.0 Red Fox, and signs would tell guests how the species is invasive to australia as a whole, but very damaging to the penguin population on the island, as they eat the eggs and chicks. At the end of the path there is a large curved glass viewing into the namesake of the whole thing, a colony of 4.4.0 Little Blue Penguin. The penguin viewing has the water at waist level of guests, but is deeper on the inside of the habitat. the land portion of the habitat is separated from the guests by the water, and has nest boxes on a beach with sand and pebble substrate.
