The Pingoo Restaurant are part of the Jakarta Aquarium, but yes I hate the idea of animals like penguin in a restaurant. Why didn't they just used some colorful saltwater fish instead of a penguin, it will still attract visitors.

I would agree that a penguinarium in a sea food restaurant is very much out of place. I highly doubt that any competent management of the penguinarium would exist here (???)!

It goes back to having laws on animal welfare and institutional capabilities to hold and manage wild or exotic species.

Also, penguin guano really stinks! I doubt I’d have much of an appetite after smelling the penguin exhibit.
