Dubai Zoo Polar Bears in Dubai!!

It may sound like an April Fool joke and I suppose at the end of the day that it actually could be, but I think not. There are plans to exhibit Polar Bears in Dubai. They will be amongst the exhibits kept in a wildlife sanctuary next to the proposed 'Ice Dubai'.

I can't imagine who they expect to pay for this. Dubai is currently...what?...$26billion in debt for its ambitious developments.

The real disgrace is that Dubai Zoo has been for years without a view to moving into the new zoo grounds. Masterplans have come and gone ... It is time they built the New Zoo forthwith and have them relocate from the present location. The people on the ground are doing great work ..., just the Municipality is a complete joke ....

Well that apart from bringing in polar bears arctic to a arid extreme at 45-55 degree country .....
