I've heard about the sad death of Joey and ex Mole Hall chimp which was moved to Cefn Yr Erw just over a year ago!
What is upsetting that he has been dead 10 days now and no one at Cefn Yr Erw had the decency to contact any of the former owners or keepers just to inform them of his death! Any post of condolence are being removed from the Cefn Yr Erw face book page which I think is very rude!
He was loved by many people over his life, and lack of confirmation of his death is very hurtful, just finding out 3rd hand in whispers!
I also have conflicting reports some say was found dead some say were trying to operate on him, why is the truth so hard to say???
I was his keeper for 10 years during the 90's and loved every second!
Anyone know anything or thoughts on this?
