16yo polar bear male Tom will leave the zoo during spring to his new home in Almaty Zoo.

Prague will then receive two new males - 13yo brothers Gregor and Aleut, currently residing in Warsaw Zoo

Yes, I’m not a fan of the Prague enclosure but they’re incomparable.

Nice to hear an update from this project. I wouldn’t be surprised if the zoo took yellow-bellied capuchins or any other species of tufted capuchin. However I think it would be neat if they had white fronted capuchins.

According to Zootierliste, the male Javan leopard Arjuna has returned to Tierpark Berlin.

Let's hope it is used to expand the space for species already kept, such as the clouded leopards.

The big cat house is almost empty. Last old lion. Last old Sumatran tiger. No leopard. 1 (?) old clouded leopard. 1 old Malayan tiger - the species is being phased out anyway. And few small cats that 90% of visitors dont manage to see.

It would make sense to initiate substantial renovation of the house. But I haven´t see any mention of such intentions.

Two hours ago, I saw two lions and two Malayan tigers, but I agree with your point, renovation is needed.

I suppose it was Banya as usuall... If I have to be honest, I don´t care about tigers that much, so I just flew by. And yes, I think that Ginni is still in Budapest.

Well, I think some renovations of cat house are or were planned. I don´t know if its still on the table and how or when.
About clouded leopards - they could get new exhibit in upper part of zoo, in the future, as a part of rebuilding of plains.

Almost 6 years old tasmanian devil female Laurel was euthanized.

Turns out Fossa is the answer, pair of them will replace both Javan and Clouded leopards (elderly clouded leopard will stay in the zoo just will be moved elsewhere)
