Hi all! Happy New Year!

I know this isnt zoo based but it is animal based, just thought Id let people know of a great show happening this Saturday 8th January 2011 at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. Shows at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

'Polar is a journey to the magical frozen lands and seas at the ends of the earth. Come with us to experience the great ice fields and icebergs of the Arctic and Antarctic in this world premiere of music and film.

See the white blizzards, dazzling blue oceans and vast wilderness of the South, watch the mighty polar bear, the haunting beluga whales and beautiful humpback whales in the company of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, a specially arranged score and an immense screen.

“With the lyrical music of Beethoven, Bach, Mozart and Tchaikovsy marrying rhythm, melody and harmony to unforgettable and never-seen-before HD footage alongside Sibelius's symphonic power matching the colossal scale of these icy, remote landscapes, Polar is an ode to these mysterious and monumental regions of the world that will move you with its stunning imagery and music” John Harle.'
