Project Conservation Earth

So a few years back I started traveling around the US to different zoos. Thus far Ive been to 26 zoo/aquariums in 12 different states while hopefully crossing off a few more this summer. In that time I grew to want to be able to get people more involved. We own an animal outreach program here in Michigan where we travel the state to nursing homes, schools, birthday parties, etc. talking about conservation and the importance of animals. When i started traveling, I realized how big of a variety of species and subspecies truly exist in every zoo here in the states and world wide. Ive even found myself searching the internet looking to see where my best chance to see certain species are at. Thus far Ive shot (with a camera of course) close to 4,000 species both wild and captive. What Im looking for here is the most unusual and rare species in zoos worldwide that anyone has seen so I can continue to grow this project. Its my goal to be able to display the pictures online and have people see species they never knew existed and hopefully start to care a bit more. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you
