The Endangered Species Act (ESA) is our strongest tool to prevent species from going extinct forever amid the sixth mass extinction.

So why are some politicians trying to weaken it?

We cannot let the last line of defense against extinction for the Mexican gray wolf, the North Atlantic right whale, the Florida panther and so many more be eviscerated.

Let your Representatives know that wildlife and the environment are an important issue.

I totally understand and respect your concerns, but Defenders of Wildlife is reputable organization and they do a lot of great pioneering work for wildlife and nature conservation legislatively. If I were you, I would just sign it and if they send out emails and texts or what not and you are uncomfortable with it, you can unsubscribe. It is ultimately up to you.
