Hi
I created a species list for this facility:
Name: Putrajaya Wetlands Park
Location: Putrajaya, Malaysia
Website: Home | Putrajaya Corporation
Visit Date: November 3, 2024
Ticket Price: Free
Animal Feeding / Activities: None
Note that this place is not actually a zoo, but a large park with animals.
The facility doesn't have rare species, but the main interest will be the wils species in the park. Wild Smooth Coated Otters (Lutrogale perspicillata) are frequently spooted in the park, and I have seen them in the past too. The park also serves as an excellent venue for birdwatchers.
The enclosures for birds (or lakes where they can free roam) are massive, and that might be one of the largest in Malaysia.
Here is the species list.I have also added the species list to Zootierliste, so I will follow its format for the list.
<Birds>
Black swan (Cygnus atratus)
Domestic duck (No Breeds-status) (Anas platyrhynchos f. domestica)
Domestic goose (No Breeds-status) (Anser anser f. domestica)
Domestic muscovy duck (Cairina moschata f. domestica)
Egyptian goose (Alopochen aegyptiaca (Syn.: Alopochen aegyptiacus))
Great white pelican (Eastern white pelican) (Rosy pelican) (Pelecanus onocrotalus (Syn.: Pelecanus roseus) (Syn.: Pelecanus mitratus))
Greater flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus (Syn.: Phoenicopterus ruber roseus) (Syn.: Phoenicopterus antiquorum))
Mute swan (Cygnus olor)
Pink-backed pelican (Pelecanus rufescens)
Please let me know if you see any points to fix or have any questions.
I'll be happy to discuss!
