The 18-year-old pygmy hippo male Napoleon has moved from Zoo Basel to Parque de la Naturaleza de Cabárceno. The male from there, the 27-year-old Ume, has moved to Zoo Basel.

A pygmy hippo was born at Duisburg Zoo on the 26th of November. It is a male and he has been given the name Panya. The parents are Atu and Ayoka.
