Quail

Does anyone know of any Hampshire stockists of Chinese Painted Quail? I'm thinking of 2 girls for my indoor budgie aviary as there is a good amount of floorspace. I won't be putting any with my lovebirds as they are aggressive little gits.

Grange aviaries, Botley seem to stock them when we have been down there in the past. Haven't been down there for a little bit though. I have read from keepers that quail used as floor cleaners ideally need their own food aswell rather than just the dropped seed.

Oh they will have access to their own food too, as well as foraging, as I like to feed all the birds from low down, to use the full height of the cage from bottom to top.
