I've been reading up on what happens to these beautiful looking animals in China, but my question is does anyone know if any zoo in the UK (or Europe) keeps them as I've never seen one and would like the chance to do so.

The newly opened Yorkshire wildlife park has some, i know Chessington had them a few years back, don't know if they still have them though

yeah the above comment is correct the yorkshire wildlife park does have racoon dogs, we have two females, we are looking for a male, but unfortunately no other park in the country has any

Orangeperson, thanks for that pix, they are beautiful how anyone would want to kill them for fur is beyond me.
Maybe other zoo's in the UK should start to keep them and bring their story into the public eye as they are not well known animals and they deserve all the good publicity they can get to stop this awful fur trade.

There are quite a few in private hands around the UK
