Morning,

Does anybody know where one might find records relating to the florida and california lion country safaris? I'm an historian in the UK looking to write a history of safari parks in the UK and North America.

The Florida Lion Country Safari is still in business so maybe you could contact them directly for information on that park? There is contact information for their public relations office and everything else here: http://www.lioncountrysafari.com/contact-us/

Werner Weiss is a theme park historian. He has a great website called "Yesterland", mostly about the history of Disney parks, but he does have a page on the California Lion Country Safari. You can contact him through his website and likely he could connect you with some useful information.

There was also a Lion Country Safari in Texas as well between Dallas and Fort Worth (Grand Prairie).
